ipso International School in Rheinfelden (formerly known as ISRH International School Rheinfelden) is a bilingual all-day German/English school for children aged 1,5 to 16, with part-time options for pre-school children. Since opening in January 2014, ipso International School has grown steadily due to its compelling educational concept, the early, individual and bilingual support of children and the passionate commitment of its qualified team of teachers. The four education levels, Early Childhood Center, Preschool, Primary School and Secondary School, are united under one roof, which makes it possible to support children and young people across all ages and levels. ipso International School is state-approved.
The world-renowned International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IBPYP) is combined with the state school curriculum in the core subjects up to and including Year 6 of primary school. This means that changes from and to the state school system are possible at any time, both locally and internationally. We have been an accredited IB World School since 2015, which guarantees our high quality standards.
Teaching at Secondary School is bilingual following the cantonal curriculum and includes the basics for preparation for the International General Certificate of Secondary Years Education (IGCSE).
Currently more than one hundred children from Swiss and international families, who have settled in the region for a longer period of time, are enrolled at ipso International School. The ideal location in the Fricktal valley offers great quality of life and ideal transport connections. Basel can be reached by car or public transport within 15 minutes.
"The greatest strength of our school is our passionate, highly qualified team of teachers."
