Our school strongly believes in the value of informing all of its key partners – parents, teachers and students, as much as possible. We do so in a number of ways:

Open days
Reports
Parent / Student Meetings
Regular Newsletter

Open days

Open days provide parents with the opportunity to see their children at work, thus enabling them to get a better idea of inquiry-based learning. They also experience how we value and promote the international learner profile and how children are involved actively in their learning. Our open days are also a way of reporting on student progress. They provide opportunities for parents to engage in discussions with teachers and students about their children’s intellectual, emotional and social development.

Reports

In the IB PYP, reports go home at the end of each school half year. Reports include student reflections and goals. Furthermore they offer a precise overview of the performance level of your child.

Regular Newsletter

Regular newsletters are sent out to all parents and teachers. They are written by the head of school and provide information on a range of topics, mostly dealing with the day-to-day affairs of the school, pedagogy, school development and development within the international learning environment. Homeroom and subject teachers, as well as coordinators, also send newsletters to parents informing them of events, examinations, reports, field trips, performances etc.
